Visibly I’ve done the Seat, Fitted HH Brake Pads, the Levers, added preload to the fork springs, fitted a screen and extended the front mudguard. Then there’s stuff you can’t see done to reduce rolling inefficiencies..

So far I’ve resisted the urge to remove the intake restriction but do intend to make adjustments to add swirl, improve economy and reduce vibration once the bike has reached 10,000 miles.
I’ve had two of these engines where the gaps are tight at the recommended 16,000 miles; I’m not getting fooled again 😬

 

When you says "gaps are tight", are you referring to the valves? What are HH pads? Which style mud guard are you running?

• Exhaust
• Levers
• Rear rack and Top Case
• LiFe Battery w/ charge connector under seat

Not sure what comes next.

I need those hand guards as well. Besides that and exhaust I am also done with upgrades I think 😇

 

Tight gaps refers to the valve clearances
HH refers to the friction grade of the brake pad. The EBC HH pads I have fitted front and rear offer shorter braking distances compared to the stock pads.
I’ve the standard mudguard but with a Pyramid Fenda Extender riveted onto the bottom of it which stops anything thrown up by the front wheel from reaching the radiator matrix.

I saw that Puig makes some risers for the CL500. I haven't tried them though, as I'm pretty happy with current height.

 

I have the Coffman exhaust, sound.. omg. Worth every penny. Pictures later.. I hate I need to change format of pictures from my phone to be able to upload them 🤦

 

It's funny, I look at that list in the OP and don't want to change anything. I did get the OEM rack and side bag, as well as heated grips and 12v charger, but beyond maybe getting some knobbier tires when these wear out, I love my SCL500 as is.
